Healthvault is not a PHR, it is a place where consumers can decide to store information, from where they can decide to share information with healthcare providers, it allows them to connect devices and monitor themselves. That data should be owned and managed by the patient. Microsoft will not look at that data, nor trawl that data, unless the consumer decides they want to enter in to any research that might take place.
Mark Treleaven, Microsoft

Marlene Winfield OBE, HealthSpace

Brian Fisher, PAERS

Carol Dezateux, Wellcome Trust
